Art of Recovery is a public awareness art exhibition done by brain injured survivors. This project was proposed to the Brain Injury Association of Mississippi by a traumatic brain injury survivor, Joely Corban. The Brain Injury Association of Mississippi has made Art of Recovery an annual event. The artwork will be available for bidding through a “sealed bid auction” as the exhibit travels to different locations around the state from. Online bidding will is also available. The bids will be opened and artwork will go to the highest bidder later this year. Proceeds of the auction will go to the BIA of MS to help further our mission.
If you would like the “Art of Recovery” to be displayed in your local area, please have the interested facility contact our office, and we will schedule a date. In the past, the exhibit has been on display in hospitals, art galleries and rehab facilities all over the State.
