About the BIA of
Mississippi
The Brain Injury Association of
Mississippi was founded in 1987 and serves people throughout the
state of Mississippi. It is a private, non-profit corporation
whose goal is to serve persons with traumatic brain and spinal
cord Injuries, their families, caregivers, and professionals.
The Association is an affiliated member of the Brain Injury
Association of America.
The Brain Injury Association of
Mississippi is a 501(c)(3) corporation. As such, all donations,
gifts, membership dues and bequests are tax deductible.
YOU CAN HELP THE BRAIN
INJURY ASSOCIATION MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Through donations, gifts, membership
dues, special events and grants, the Brain Injury Association of
Mississippi is able to develop support groups throughout the
state, design and publish educational resource materials,
provide literature from the Information Referral Service upon
request, update and maintain a comprehensive resource library
with membership borrowing privileges, implement and participate
in community and educational prevention programs and maintain a
statewide, toll free 800 telephone help line.
